Progress Report - May (3)

Progress continues to be good. But writing became a little stressful this week since this scene is a bit more convoluted that I expected it to be. It has derailed into something I did not expect and that means it will be a while before I can move on to a less angsty part of the story.

A few issues that I encountered while writing this was finding a balance between exposition, character reveals and plot progression without it becoming overbearing. I think I managed to do it somewhat well, I had to sacrifice player interaction in favor of something that made sense and was easier to digest than what I was initially working on, but I’m content with the result.

Also, some good news: I managed to finish the outline of the Masaru and Klaus portraits. Klaus’s is okay, it needs a bit of tweaking, but Masaru looks SO handsome, I’m impressed, I don’t know how I managed to do it.

I think that’s it. I’m sort of tired because of how much brain power working through that awful scene took, but hopefully I’ll feel better soon (I’m writing this on Friday, so by Sunday I should be better).

Here’s your out of context phrase for the week, K being dramatic:
